On the afternoon of February 17, comrade Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting and worked with the delegation of the Association of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Abroad and Japanese investors. Also attending were comrades: Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vu Kim Cu, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board; leaders of relevant departments and branches.

Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his joy at welcoming the Association of Overseas Vietnamese Entrepreneurs and Japanese investors to learn about and promote investment in the province.
He gave an overview of the province's potential and strengths, emphasizing that Thai Binh is geographically located in the development triangle of Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh, with a complete and synchronous regional transportation system. The province's development strengths are its large enough land fund for industrial development, clean and available land, abundant human resources and good quality vocational training... The province focuses on reforming administrative procedures, is determined to improve the investment and business environment, and always accompanies, supports, and removes difficulties to help investors develop smoothly.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the Association of Overseas Vietnamese Entrepreneurs and Japanese enterprises will spend time researching and surveying cooperation and investment opportunities in the province. Thai Binh province is ready to welcome and create the most favorable conditions for foreign investors in general and Japanese investors in particular to invest in the province.
Comrade Vu Kim Cu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board, introduced investment potential in Thai Binh province.
At the meeting, representatives of provincial departments and branches and representatives of Japanese organizations and investors exchanged and focused on discussing a number of contents in investment cooperation in industrial parks in Thai Binh Economic Zone such as: finance - banking, high-tech agriculture, trade, logistics, infrastructure construction in industrial parks, food export, energy, manufacturing of machinery for agriculture, etc.
Mr. Kenmei Kitagawa, Chairman of the Japan-Asia Trade Promotion Association, head of the Japanese business delegation, spoke at the meeting.
Leaders of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, Ministry of Foreign Affairs spoke at the meeting.

Representatives of the Association of Overseas Vietnamese Entrepreneurs, the Japan-Asia Trade Promotion Association; the Department of Economics, Science and Technology, the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and the Vietnamese Trade Counselor in Japan and Japanese investors thanked the province for its warm welcome to the delegation; and expressed their impression of the rapid, strong and sustainable development of Thai Binh province, as well as highly appreciated the province's existing potential in industrial development. The organizations pledged to be a bridge to promote and introduce the land, people, potential, strengths and investment opportunities of Thai Binh province to businesses and investors from other countries, including Japanese investors, creating opportunities for cooperation between the parties in the coming time.
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The fields that Japanese enterprises are interested in investing in are all strengths of the province, so he hopes that after today's meeting, there will be more effective cooperation in investment between Japanese enterprises and Thai Binh province. The Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of the province and relevant departments and branches coordinate, support and create the best conditions for Japanese investors in the process of researching and implementing effective and successful projects in Thai Binh.
