The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that on June 13 and 14, the midlands and the Northern Delta, southern Son La and Hoa Binh will have hot and extremely hot weather. The highest temperature is commonly 35-38 degrees Celsius, some places over 38 degrees Celsius, the lowest humidity is 50-60%.

The area from Thanh Hoa to Binh Thuan has hot and extremely hot weather, some places are especially extremely hot with the highest temperature commonly 36-39 degrees Celsius, some places above 39 degrees Celsius. The lowest relative humidity commonly 50-55%.

The heat wave in the Central region is likely to last for many days to come; in the Northern region, it will gradually ease from June 15.

The effects of heat and intense heat combined with low humidity in the air create a risk of explosions and fires in residential areas due to increased demand for electricity and the risk of forest fires.

In addition, heat can also cause dehydration, exhaustion, and heat stroke in the human body when exposed to high temperatures for a long time.
