Meta AI officially launched in Vietnam, free to use

On April 10, Meta Group announced that Meta AI has officially launched in Vietnam on WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and meta.ai platforms.

With over 700 million monthly active users, Meta AI is currently the most popular AI assistant in the world, available in 42 countries and supporting 13 languages including Vietnamese.

Meta AI is built on the Meta Llama 3.2 platform and is completely free to access. Users in Vietnam can use Meta AI on WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger and Instagram to complete tasks, learn, create content and connect. At the same time, users can easily access Meta AI on their computer browser at meta.ai and log in to save conversation history.

Meta AI is now integrated with search on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger, allowing users to access and search for information instantly.

Users can easily access Meta AI in their Facebook feed, and ask Meta AI to provide additional relevant information from a post. For example, when seeing a photo of the aurora borealis in Iceland, users can ask Meta AI about the best times of year to see this amazing natural phenomenon.

Meta AI is also constantly improving its image creation feature, allowing users to convert text into images almost instantly through the Imagine feature. Users can also add motion effects or create GIFs to share with friends.

In addition to Meta AI, Meta also introduced the AI Studio tool in Vietnam, allowing users to create and explore AI characters. Content creators can build AIs to represent themselves and interact with their followers on Meta's platforms. These AIs will be approved by themselves and fully managed.

Also this week, Meta announced the release of Llama 4 17B Omni, its latest open source model with multimodal text and image processing capabilities, delivering superior performance at half the computational cost of the 70B model. How to access Meta AI:

- In Meta apps: Look for the blue circle icon inside Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, or Facebook.

- In group chats: Type “@Meta AI” to get support, settle a dispute, or suggest an idea.

- On the web: Visit meta.ai to solve a problem, write an email, or explore topics. Sign in to save your chat history.

- On Messenger: Click the message icon > Chat with AI

- On WhatsApp: Tap “+” > Chat with AI.
