At 39, Dzeko is still a mainstay of the Bosnia & Herzegovina national team. On his personal page, Dzeko posted a photo of his bruised face with the spirited message: "All or nothing". The image showed him with serious injuries, with two bruised eye sockets, a swollen and bloody nose, making viewers shudder. Dzeko was forced to return to Türkiye for further examination.
