Masan High-Tech Materials honored as “Great Place to Work” in 2023

This is a well-deserved recognition for the company’s systematic human resource development strategy and a testament to the value of investing in people, creating a cohesive and fair working environment where everyone can succeed. Masan High-Tech Materials (MHT), the company that owns the Nui Phao mine in Dai Tu, Thai Nguyen, is currently the world’s leading supplier of high-tech materials with more than 2,200 employees working in Vietnam and manufacturing facilities around the world (Germany, Canada, China).

According to the survey results of Great Place to Work, 90% of employees rated MHT as a trustworthy workplace and 92% felt like they wanted to stay long-term and were proud to share with others about the Company. 96% of employees surveyed felt satisfied and welcomed when joining the Company. 91% voted positively for the working environment and welfare regime, 91% of employees expressed confidence in the leadership and inspiration ability of the Board of Directors and management team.

These impressive results are thanks to the direction and vision of MHT's Board of Directors. Every year, the Company organizes periodic labor dialogues, publicly discloses production and business results to help employees understand the financial situation as well as answer all questions about the Company's policies, regulations and development plans.

This has led to 91% of employees expressing confidence in the Board of Directors' clear and transparent development path; they also said they receive fair treatment and respect at work.

In 2022, the Company organized hundreds of training courses with a total duration of more than 46,000 hours, attracting 24,250 participants. In addition to professional skills, the training sessions also focused on developing soft skills, helping to improve work efficiency and communication and cooperation skills of employees. The Company also provided a clear development roadmap for capable employees who actively contributed to the Company's development.

Not only focusing on career development and work results, MHT's Board of Directors also has policies to encourage and support employees to balance work and life. Understanding the desires of employees outside the workplace, the Company applies flexible working schedules, organizes comprehensive health check-up programs, periodic travel programs, sports activities such as yoga, jogging, as well as ensures competitive compensation.

Every year, the Company contributes more than 1,000 billion VND to the State budget; 1 million USD for investment activities, economic, cultural and social development of Thai Nguyen province; creating jobs for thousands of local workers.

The company has paid special attention to education, contributing more than 4 billion VND, supporting more than 2,500 students over the past 10 years. In response to these efforts, 95% of employees said they felt proud of the company's positive contributions to the community.
