Alpha Farm Da Lat has a closed production process of imported potted flower varieties associated with a stable annual consumption market.

At the end of March 2025, the Dalat Flower Association displayed thousands of colors in Xuan Tho commune, Da Lat city with about 55 imported potted flower varieties from SyngentaFlowers Vietnam Company and Vietnam Flower Seeds Company Limited. Many flower producers and traders visited and learned about the technical care process, market demand and economic value of each flower variety cultivated in agricultural areas of Da Lat city in particular, in the province and outside Lam Dong province in general. Mr. Nguyen Nhat Quang - owner of Alpha Farm Da Lat, Chairman of the Da Lat Potted Flower Association (Da Lat Flower Association) said that these are potted flower varieties that have become the main commodity production needs of the association members in the past 10 years. In particular, the Alpha Farm brand develops a concentrated scale of closed-loop potted flower production linked to the market, achieving significant profits year-round on a total area of ​​3 hectares in the areas of Than Tho Lake, Lu Gia, Ta Nung, Da Lat City.

Specifically, planting new geranium varieties on an area of ​​1,000 m2, Alpha Farm Da Lat achieved an effective density of 10,000 pots in Da Lat flower growing areas. The process starts with importing seeds to sow in each small plot for about 30 days before planting in pots. Care continues for more than 30 days, then sells to the market, earning an estimated profit of about 100 million VND by the end of March 2025. Similarly, with stable prices in the first 3 months of 2025, the new geranium variety at Alpha Farm Da Lat from sowing seeds on substrate to selling potted flower products to the market in about 100 days, earning a profit of about 80 million VND/1,000 ^m2 . Or new sunflower varieties, the planting, care and harvesting time is about 5 months, with a total revenue of 100 million VND/1,000 ^m2 . The investment level for 1,000 ^m2 per sunflower crop is estimated at 40 million VND.

“On average, Alpha Farm produces 3 batches each year, bringing to the market a total of 300,000 flower pots with more than 20 imported varieties supplied by SyngentaFlowers Vietnam Company and Vietnam Flower Seed Company. Calculating profits on an area of ​​1 hectare each year can reach billions of VND…”, said Nguyen Nhat Quang, Head of the Da Lat Potted Flower Association. Accordingly, the annual output of commercial potted flowers according to orders from the domestic market of large cities accounts for 70%; the remaining 30% of the output, Alpha Farm proactively produces according to market forecasts. The advantage of imported potted flower varieties from the world's leading seed producing countries for planting in the temperate climate of Da Lat City and neighboring districts, the product has many colors, and retains freshness for up to 3 months of use, so the consumer market continues to develop in regions and areas in the country.

Pham Huong, the business manager of Vietnam Flower Seeds Company Limited, said that among the significant imported flower varieties with high value introduced in Xuan Tho Commune, Da Lat City recently, there are primrose varieties that are producing millions of F1 seeds each year in many agricultural areas in the country. Of which, accounting for 40% of the seeds produced and traded in Da Lat City, creating a rich variety and contributing to improving the competitiveness of the flower product "Da Lat - Miraculous crystallization from the good land" in the market.

Businessman Mallikajun Mangrule, representative of SyngentaFlowers Vietnam Company, hopes that the potted flower varieties that the company provides for commercial cultivation with high value in Da Lat and surrounding areas will continue to expand in the coming time, increasing profits even more for producers.
