Man Utd at risk of losing Antony in FA Cup final

The ankle injury suffered in the 4-1 win over Chelsea could rule Antony out of the FA Cup final on June 3.

Antony started, but had to leave the field in the 29th minute after colliding with Trevoh Chalobah. The Chelsea centre-back made a legal tackle, but his impact caused Antony to injure his ankle. The Brazilian striker lay on the field in pain and was stretchered off. A few minutes later, Erik ten Hag brought on Marcus Rashford.

"I can only say it's a serious injury, but we need to wait at least 24 hours to know more about his condition," Ten Hag said about Antony's injury in the post-match press conference.

Hosting Chelsea at home, Man Utd led 4-0 thanks to Casemiro, Anthony Martial, Bruno Fernandes and Rashford. Chelsea's equaliser was scored by Joao Felix. The victory helped Ten Hag's team secure a Champions League ticket one round early. They will definitely finish third if they beat Fulham in the final round.

After the Premier League ends, the FA Cup final on June 3rd will be Man Utd's top priority. They will face city rivals Man City - the team that just won the Premier League. The "Red Devils" are considered the underdogs, and Antony's injury will make it even more difficult for Ten Hag.
