24K.Right received the golden hat without even singing

In episode 2 of Rap Viet season 3, just after stepping onto the stage to say hello, 24k.Right immediately received the first golden hat from coach BigDaddy, leaving the whole studio stunned.

After that, the remaining 3 coaches also threw their yellow hats and fought fiercely in the hope of getting 24K.Right on their team. This was the first contestant to get 4 yellow hats but BigDaddy's was no longer valid.

From the first seconds of rapping, Tran Thanh excited the coaches, judges and MC thanks to his confident performance style, catchy flow (rhythm and rhyme), creative and witty lyrics like storytelling.

At the end of the performance, 24K.Right received 99% more votes from the audience.

24k.Right's performance left the coaches on the edge of their seats.

Commenting on the performance, Coach B Ray shared: “I feel like there is something about you that everyone has missed, which is that you are a lyrical rapper. Through your recent performance, your storytelling art is very good and you developed it very reasonably. I think when you join my team, we can make a lot of hits.”

Not to be outdone, Coach Andree Right Hand immediately made the whole audience explode with the action of taking off the stone-encrusted bracelet on his wrist and putting it on the wrist of his favorite contestant, saying: "I see this wrist of yours is still empty."

Finally, 24k.Right decided to go to each coach's position and "closed the deal" to join team B Ray.

Champion Quang Anh transformed when he returned

Episode 2 of Rap Viet season 3 attracted much attention with the return of the champion of The Voice Kids season 1 in 2013 - Nguyen Quang Anh.

Talking about the reason for coming to the program, Quang Anh confided that after his success at the age of 12, he encountered many incidents, pressures and losses. He also went through a period of broken voice and released some products but could not regain his glory. Coming to Rap Viet, Quang Anh wanted to challenge himself with a new path.

The champion of the first season of The Voice Kids 2013 surprised everyone with his transformation when participating in the new playground.

Returning to this stage, Quang Anh took the name Rhyder. He performed "De anh một minh" (Leave me alone) from the original "De anh roi xa". The champion of The Voice Kids Vietnam showed impressive melodic flow and "close tune" skills.

At the end of the performance, Rhyder brought home 4 picks from 4 coaches and 93% of the audience's votes. Known as the champion of The Voice Kid, Rhyder is a name highly appreciated for his skills in this year's Rap Viet competition.

After some deliberation, the three judges consulted and decided to make Rhyder a member of coach Andree Right Hand's team.

"Speed ​​demon" MegaShock causes regret

The appearance of rapper Alen (formerly known as Megashock) in episode 2 of Rap Viet season 3 brought many emotions.

He is well-known in the underground community for his excellent fast-flow skills. The male rapper is even nicknamed "speed demon" for his high-speed rapping and flexibility, comparable to famous rapper Datmaniac.

Alen's elimination made 4 coaches and 3 judges regretful.

Alen performed the rap song "Upstream of Tears", inspired by the beat "Bong Dung Muon Khoc". The male rapper started off quite smoothly, showing good skills, but Alen did not receive an explosion from the coaches and the audience throughout the rap.

At the end of the performance, Judge JustaTee shared: "After this song comes out, Karik will be the one who regrets his coaching position the most."

Karik was impressed by Alen's performance and declared that he would choose this contestant if he were still a coach. The judge said he regretted not being in the coach's position right now.

Judge JustaTee said that choosing a song and performance space are things to consider.

“This is a good song, but standing in the music space of social networks is not necessarily the same as standing on a stage. We should rely on the nature of the scene to save the best things, to capture the hearts and feelings of everyone here,” JustaTee advised Alen.

However, even though he was praised by the judges and coaches, Alen still had to stop in regret when he only received 48% of the audience's votes in the studio. According to the rules of this year's program, contestants with more than 50% of the audience's votes are allowed to continue.

Yuno BigBoi - who appeared in Rap Viet season 1 brought bright energy and joined team B Ray

Episode 2 of Rap Viet season 3 also features Yuno BigBoi, Dubbie - better known as Khuong Le (actor Le Huu Khuong).

At the end of episode 2, Coach Thai VG and BigDaddy's team had no new members. Coach Andree Right Hand gained 2 warriors, Rhyder and Dubbie. B Ray "harvested" 3 new warriors, DT Tap Rap, Yuno BigBoi and 24k.Right.
