New Year greetings in Memot district, Tbong Khmum province, Kingdom of Cambodia

(BTNO) - On April 6, a delegation of Tan Chau district leaders led by Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee visited and wished a happy traditional Chol Chnam Thmay festival to the authorities and people of Memot district, Tbong Khmum province, Kingdom of Cambodia.

Also attending were leaders of Tan Bien district, Tay Ninh province and Loc Ninh district, Binh Phuoc province. Welcoming the delegations was Mr. Sreng Ly - Chairman of Memot district.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong - Chairman of Tan Chau District People's Committee presented gifts to Mr. Sreng Ly - Chairman of Memot District and his wife.

At the meeting, Chairman of Tan Chau District People's Committee Nguyen Quoc Cuong sent his regards and wished the Cambodian people in general and Memot district in particular a joyful, warm and happy traditional Chol Thnam Thmay.

On this occasion, the Chairman of Tan Chau District People's Committee and leaders of departments, branches, unions and armed forces of the district presented many congratulatory gifts to the leaders of Memot district, demonstrating the solidarity and friendship between the two localities.

Mr. Sreng Ly - Chairman of Memot district expressed his joy when welcoming the delegation of Tan Chau district to visit and wish the Cambodian people a happy traditional New Year; believing that in the coming time, the two districts will continue to coordinate well in all fields, contributing to fostering good neighborly relations, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation and long-term sustainability.

Before that, young people from the two districts participated in a football exchange with beautiful plays and attractive ball-fighting situations, contributing to creating a lively and exciting atmosphere.
