Ba Ria - Vung Tau organizes a series of events to serve tourists on the occasion of April 30

On April 17, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province held a press conference to introduce a series of events to promote, stimulate and attract tourists during the April 30 holiday.

Mr. Vu Hong Thuan, Acting Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that on the occasion of April 30, the province will have 22 events to serve tourists. Of these, 5 are organized at the provincial level; 14 are at the district level and 3 are organized by businesses and the Department of Industry and Trade of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

Among the 5 provincial events organized is the Ba Ria - Vung Tau tourism music festival "V-FEST ALLSTAR" taking place from 7pm on May 1 at Lam Son Stadium (Vung Tau City), gathering the top music stars of Vietnam, with newly staged and spectacular performances on a 360-degree stage.

In addition, from May 1 to 3, there will be 3 provincial-level sports events including: Art kite festival at Bai Sau (Vung Tau city) with the participation of 30-40 kite clubs nationwide; open sailing tournament taking place at Bai Sau with Olympic-standard sailing (50 athletes) and 20 RS 470 laser boats; open lion and dragon dance tournament at Cot Co park (Vung Tau city) with the participation of 20-25 performing troupes nationwide.

For events organized by the district level, in Vung Tau City, there are nightly art programs at Bai Truoc (from April 29 to May 2); book and painting festival "Vung Tau, my homeland"; fashion shows, circus, magic, music, modern dance...

Ba Ria City organized the "Ba Ria NEW ROAD - 2nd" cycling race on April 27, opening at Ba Ria Park. Phu My City organized an art program with the theme "The Great Spring Epic Victory" on April 28 and a football and walking tournament on April 26.

Con Dao district organizes a traditional raft racing competition on April 30 at Pier 914; a 3-region culinary area, an entertainment area, and folk games from April 29 to May 3.

Long Dat district has amateur music and mixed arts on April 30 in Phuoc Hai; food festival, traditional martial arts tournament, "Long Dat Discovery" running tournament; giant kite performance from April 30 to May 3; U11 - U13 football tournament. Chau Duc district performs "The Country is Full of Joy" on April 24 at the district administrative center. Xuyen Moc district organizes a contest and performance of revolutionary songs from April 25 to 27; district-wide marathon on April 27.

The Department of Industry and Trade of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province organizes the Flash Sale Holiday Fair (from April 30 to May 4 in Vung Tau City). The Grand Ho Tram (Xuyen Moc District) has a music night with Korean singers on May 3. The Maris Vung Tau (Vung Tau City) organizes a cultural - culinary - music festival from April 30 to May 4.

Mr. Do Phuoc Trung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, said that the series of events aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification; at the same time, create more joyful and impressive experiences for tourists and people, expecting to attract over 50,000 visitors, increase accommodation service revenue by about 60 billion VND and generate revenue of about 30 billion VND for food, transportation, shopping and entertainment services.
