FPT announces $3 million support package for AI Startups

The FPT Startup Innovation 2025 program officially started with the AI ​​Startup Discovery Day event that just took place in Ho Chi Minh City. This event attracted more than 50 technology startups and many experts and partners of FPT. The program is expected to continue in Hanoi on April 16 at Grand K Hotel Suites (Cau Giay District).

FPT Startup Innovation is an annual program organized by FPT Smart Cloud (a member of FPT Corporation). This unit focuses on comprehensive digital transformation solutions and technological innovation. Over the past two years, the organizers announced that the program has supported more than 20 startups with a total committed funding value of VND90 billion.

This year, the program continues to support startups in the technology sector, especially AI startups that develop products and solutions based on AI platforms. In the context of Vietnam promoting AI development on a national scale with Resolution 57 of the Government, startups promise to have the opportunity to develop significantly, when AI becomes a core factor in digital transformation of industries such as manufacturing, finance - banking, healthcare, education and high-tech agriculture.

According to Mr. Doan Dang Khoa, Deputy General Director of FPT Smart Cloud, FPT Corporation, this is a favorable time for technology startups, especially AI, because the combination of policy, infrastructure and technology creates a triangle of sustainable development for the innovation ecosystem.

The biggest difference this year is the participation of international partners invited by FPT. The program provides benefits to each startup from the pre-seed stage to the series A funding round. FPT announced a $3 million Cloud Credit package to help startups take advantage of the FPT AI Factory solution. According to the corporation, this is a factor that helps AI startups accelerate technology development, expand connections with investment funds and international media units.

Following the opening event, the program continues with an intensive technical training course and AI Hackathon in June, along with a Demo Day event. This series of activities promises to provide a technological platform and opportunities for AI startups to perfect their products, increasing their access to investors.

FPT Startup Innovation 2025 is also one of the activities to realize FPT Corporation's commitment to contribute to making Vietnam an important AI center in the region and the world.
