In his opening speech, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan emphasized that national brand is an intangible asset with strategic value, reflecting the overall competitiveness and position of a country in the integration process. In recent years, under the leadership of the Party, the direction of the Government and the support of enterprises, the Vietnam National Brand has made impressive progress.
Citing Brand Finance's assessment, Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan said that in recent years, Vietnam's National Brand has made great strides. Vietnam is not only in the Top 100 countries with strong brands, but is also the country with the fastest brand value growth rate in the world in the period 2019-2022. Vietnam's brand value in 2024 is ranked 32nd out of 193 countries assessed, reaching 507 billion USD, up 1 rank and 2% in value compared to 2023.
With the theme “Breakthrough from innovation and creativity”, Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan hopes that the Forum will be an opportunity for management agencies, experts, scientists and the domestic and foreign business community to exchange, share experiences and create solutions to enhance the capacity of Vietnamese brands globally.
The Vietnam National Brand Program was approved by the Government in 2003 and assigned to the Ministry of Industry and Trade to preside over the implementation. It is a unique, long-term and unique trade promotion program at the national level. With the core values of "Quality - Innovation - Pioneering capacity", the Program has contributed to supporting businesses in building strong brands, enhancing the reputation of Vietnamese goods and services in the international market.
Vietnam National Brand Week 2025 takes place from April 15 to 21, 2025. This is an important event to honor Vietnamese enterprises with prestigious products and services in the market. The event not only recognizes the contributions of enterprises in improving product quality but also contributes to affirming the value of Vietnamese brands in the domestic and international markets. This is an opportunity for enterprises to enhance their reputation, expand their markets and increase their influence in the context of global competition.
Within the framework of the event, the Organizing Committee will hold a photo exhibition on the achievements of the Vietnam National Brand at the opening ceremony venue. At the same time, it will carry out communication and promotion activities nationwide to raise public awareness of the role of brands in sustainable development and international integration.
