The highest salary for teachers and lecturers in public vocational education institutions is 18.72 million VND/month.

The highest salary for vocational school teachers is nearly 19 million VND/month.

The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has just issued Circular No. 10/2024 amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No. 07/2023 regulating codes, standards for professional titles; salary classification, promotion of professional titles of civil servants specializing in vocational education. The regulation applies to teachers and lecturers of vocational schools, which are colleges, intermediate schools, and public vocational education centers.

Specifically, regarding the salary classification of professional titles of civil servants specializing in vocational education, it is stipulated that: Senior vocational education lecturer (grade I), code: V.09.02.01, is applied with the salary coefficient of civil servants of type A3 group 1 (A3.1) from salary coefficient 6.20 to salary coefficient 8.00 (equivalent to salary from 14.5 million VND to 18.72 million VND/month).

Main vocational education lecturer (grade II), code: V.09.02.02 is applied the salary coefficient of civil servants of type A2 group 1 (A2.1) from salary coefficient 4.40 to salary coefficient 6.78 (equivalent to 10.29 million VND to 15.86 million VND/month).

Theoretical vocational education lecturer (grade III), code: V.09.02.03, is applied salary coefficient of type A1 civil servant from salary coefficient 2.34 to salary coefficient 4.98 (equivalent to 5.47 million VND to 11.65 million VND/month).

Vocational education lecturers (grade III), code: V.09.02.04, are applied the salary coefficient of civil servants of type A0 from salary coefficient 2.10 to salary coefficient 4.89 (equivalent to 4.91 million VND to 11.44 million VND/month).

Senior vocational education teachers (grade I), code: V.09.02.05, are applied the salary coefficient of type A3 group 2 civil servants (A3.2), from salary coefficient 5.75 to salary coefficient 7.55.

Main vocational education teacher (grade II), code: V.09.02.06, is applied the salary coefficient of type A2 group 1 civil servants (A2.1) from salary coefficient 4.40 to salary coefficient 6.78.

Theoretical vocational education teacher (grade III), code: V.09.02.07, is applied the salary coefficient of type A1 civil servants from salary coefficient 2.34 to salary coefficient 4.98.

Vocational education teachers (grade III), code: V.09.02.08, are applied the salary coefficient of type A0 civil servants from salary coefficient 2.10 to salary coefficient 4.89 (equivalent to 4.91 million VND to 11.44 million VND/month).

Vocational education teachers (grade IV), code: V.09.02.09, are applied the salary coefficient of type B civil servants from salary coefficient 1.86 to salary coefficient 4.06 (equivalent to 4.35 million VND to 9.5 million VND/month).

The salary coefficients prescribed in this Article will be replaced and applied according to the guidance documents of competent authorities regulating the new salary regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces to replace Decree No. 204/2004 of the Government.
