Long An holds meeting of Internal Affairs agencies in the first quarter of 2025

On the afternoon of April 2, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation - Nguyen Thanh Hai chaired the meeting of the Internal Affairs agencies in the first quarter and deployed tasks in the second quarter of 2025.

In the first quarter of 2025, the agencies of the Internal Affairs Bloc performed well their assigned functions and tasks, strictly controlled the border, internal political security continued to be strengthened, national defense remained stable, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development results of the province. In particular, the sectors in the Bloc well implemented the dual goal of both organizing and streamlining the apparatus in accordance with the direction of the Central and the province, and performing professional tasks, especially for the Public Security, Customs and Market Management sectors.

At the conference, the sectors in the Bloc also analyzed, clarified the causes, and proposed solutions to overcome shortcomings and limitations in a number of areas such as complaints and denunciations; the rate of resolved cases; execution of judgments, etc.

Concluding the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation - Nguyen Thanh Hai suggested that in the second quarter, the agencies of the Internal Affairs Bloc should coordinate more closely, improve the quality of handling investigation, inspection, examination and supervision cases. In addition, the agencies need to grasp the situation, promptly advise the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to effectively implement the maintenance of security, order and social safety, associated with the work of organizing and arranging the apparatus; continue to prevent and combat corruption, negativity, waste, prevent and combat all types of crimes, especially drug crimes...
