On January 30, Mr. Do Viet Hung - Chairman of Pleiku City People's Committee (Gia Lai) said that construction units are urgently implementing the project "Flower Street for Lunar New Year 2024" at the center of Dai Doan Ket Square of Gia Lai province.

Mr. Hung said that the design idea for the 2024 Lunar New Year Flower Street with the main theme is "Green Plateau - Aspiration to Reach Far" with typical cultural symbols of the Gia Lai highland combined with the mascot of 2024.
Accordingly, the project will arrange a space connecting the entire feasible area of the square with a welcome gate on Tran Hung Dao Street. In particular, the artist uses the image of the Central Highlands gong and the stylized mascot of the year as a highlight for Tran Hung Dao Street.
In the area of the Museum of Fine Arts, inside the Great Unity Square, there will be a walking space under the arch with the image of traditional mascots.
"The central area, on both sides of the Ho Chi Minh monument, will be symmetrical, using the image of a dragon mascot winding in the water, aspiring to rise from the traditional image of "Carp transforming into a dragon" and arranging a cluster of secondary flowers connecting consecutive flower spaces in the square grounds."
It is known that the above project with the budget of the 2024 Lunar New Year Flower Street project of Pleiku City is about 1.74 billion VND.
