I still teach my children and grandchildren to learn a lot from Uncle Ho, to follow his example, to be diligent, frugal, and honest, in work and in life," Mr. Van Dinh Thuc shared.

The family of Ms. Vo Thi Vinh (residing in Ha Tinh province) was present at Sen village wearing special costumes, red shirts with yellow stars. She took her two children to visit each house, explaining in detail to them each artifact associated with the life of President Ho Chi Minh during his childhood and his family members.

"I have taken my two children to visit Uncle Ho's Mausoleum in Hanoi, but to be honest, it is quite far away so it is difficult to arrange a trip every year. For the past 3 years, we have visited Uncle Ho's hometown on the occasion of National Day so that the children can better understand the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, fostering their love for Uncle Ho so that they can make more efforts and try harder in the upcoming new school year," Ms. Vinh shared.

Nghe An in general, Nam Dan or Kim Lien in particular, have had remarkable development, but the house of Uncle Ho and his family is still simple, plain, and rustic like Uncle Ho himself. Over the years, this has been a "red address" that many people and tourists from all over the world have come to, to better understand the place that nurtured the soul and aspiration for independence and freedom for the country of President Ho Chi Minh.
