Thanh Hoa City Labor Federation promotes patriotic emulation movements

On the afternoon of December 19, the Thanh Hoa City Labor Federation (LDL) held a conference to summarize the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ) and trade union activities in 2024; and deploy tasks for 2025.

In 2024, under the leadership of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Thanh Hoa City Party Committee, the workers' movement and trade union activities in the city achieved comprehensive results.

Thanh Hoa City Labor Federation has developed 13 new grassroots unions and trade unions, recruited 1,153 new union members, bringing the total number of grassroots unions to 284 units with 10,416 union members. The work of caring for and protecting the rights of union members and employees has been effectively carried out by unions at all levels; mobilized funds from organizations, individuals, and socialized sources to care for workers in difficulty.

During the year, the company coordinated to visit and support thousands of gifts for union members and employees, worth nearly 2 billion VND.

In addition, trade unions at all levels continue to innovate the content and methods of organizing and launching patriotic emulation movements among cadres, union members, and employees, focusing on the movements: "Innovation, creativity, and efficiency in trade union activities", "Good workers, creative workers", "Good advice, good service", "Green, clean, beautiful, ensuring safety and hygiene at work"...

Thanh Hoa City's trade unions at all levels have had many good practices and new models to attract a large number of union members and workers to participate in labor and production emulation. Typical examples include: the model of "Effective and quality 8-hour working day" at the Trade Union of the City Party Committee, the Trade Union of the Thanh Hoa City People's Committee, the Trade Union of the Thanh Hoa City People's Bloc; the model of organizing physical training and sports movements among workers and laborers at the Trade Union of Thanh Hoa Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company; the model of implementing the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers" at the Trade Union of Tien Nong Agricultural Industry Joint Stock Company, Thanh Hoa Electricity Construction Joint Stock Company, etc.

On this occasion, many collectives and individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Thanh Hoa City Labor Federation for their outstanding achievements in the labor movement and trade union activities in 2024.
