At the meeting, the Project Management Board reported on the implementation of 8 projects, including: Song Than Reservoir Project; Project to complete the level II pipeline and level III canal of the Song Cai - Tan My irrigation system; Project to improve water use efficiency for drought-affected provinces in Ninh Thuan province (ADB8); Kien Kien Reservoir Irrigation System Project; Project to collect underground water for agricultural and forestry development to adapt to climate change and sustainable green growth in arid coastal areas in the province; Project to prevent drought, erosion, and flooding to adapt to climate change in Ninh Thuan; Project to avoid storms and anchorage combined with Ca Na fishing port; Project to transfer water from Tan My - Ba Rau Lake - Song Trau Lake.

Thereby, recommending the Provincial People's Committee to direct the removal of difficulties in site clearance, investment capital, and related legal procedures to speed up the implementation of projects.
Concluding the working session, Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that with the province's dry climate conditions, these are important projects for agricultural development to adapt to climate change, increase productivity and production efficiency. It is necessary to take advantage of central support capital and preferential loans to implement, contributing to promoting the province's socio-economic development. The Project Management Board is requested to be proactive in coordinating closely with departments, branches, units and localities to remove difficulties in project implementation, especially site clearance. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment will speed up the appraisal and issuance of land prices to apply compensation prices. It is requested that sectors and localities review land use plans and land recovery records to ensure timeliness, strictness and completeness, avoid adding and adjusting land recovery records many times; mobilize people to promptly hand over land for project implementation; Relevant departments, branches and localities should promote their roles and responsibilities to coordinate to remove difficulties, support the Investor to speed up progress, and soon complete and put the project into use.
