Leaders of countries send congratulatory messages and letters on the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam

Sultan of Brunei Darussalam Haji Hassanal Bolkiah sent a congratulatory message to General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam and Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh.

The Sultan affirmed that Brunei Darussalam always treasures the long-standing friendship with Vietnam; hopes that on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the Comprehensive Partnership, the two countries will continue to strengthen cooperation in the fields of trade, energy, people-to-people exchange and join hands to promote the ASEAN Community Vision 2025, the new Vision 2045, towards the common goals of peace, stability and prosperity in the region.

President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo sent a congratulatory letter to General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam.

President Joko Widodo congratulated Vietnam and expressed his belief that the relationship between Indonesia and Vietnam will be promoted to a new height.

The King of Malaysia Al-Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar and the Queen sent a congratulatory letter to General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam; Speaker of the Malaysian House of Representatives Johari bin Abdul sent a congratulatory letter to Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Thanh Man.

The Malaysian senior leaders expressed their delight at the growing and expanding Vietnam-Malaysia Strategic Partnership in many areas; this is a testament to the close relationship between the leaders and people of the two countries over the past 50 years; and they believe that the cooperation between the two countries will achieve more substantive results, for the people of the two countries and for peace, cooperation and development of the region.

President of the Republic of the Philippines Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. sent congratulatory letters to General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam and Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh.

President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. warmly congratulated Vietnam on its great achievements in national construction and development; praised the Vietnamese people's steadfast will and determination on the path to regaining independence and freedom; believed that the strong development of Vietnam's economy would contribute to peace and stability in the ASEAN region; and affirmed his desire to continue to deepen the Strategic Partnership with Vietnam, for peace, cooperation and development, and for the benefit of the people of the two countries.

King Maha Vajiralongkorn of the Kingdom of Thailand sent a congratulatory message to General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam, and Acting Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand Phumtham Wechayachai sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh.

The Thai leaders expressed their delight at the comprehensive development in all areas of cooperation between the two countries, especially trade, investment, tourism and infrastructure; affirmed that Thailand always attaches importance to the friendly and close relationship with Vietnam and hopes that the two countries will continue to seize new opportunities to promote cooperation, for the common interests of the two countries, for a prosperous future of the two peoples.

President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol sent a congratulatory message to General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam.

President Yoon Suk Yeol affirmed that after more than 30 years of establishing diplomatic relations, Vietnam and the Republic of Korea have built a close cooperative relationship based on the foundation of friendship and solid trust; he hoped that the two countries would continue to expand and deepen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in all fields in the coming time.

President of the United States of America Joe Biden sent a congratulatory message to General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam and the Vietnamese people.

President Joe Biden thanked Vietnam for its warm welcome to the President during his visit in 2023, assessed that Vietnam and the United States have made great progress in building a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, thereby contributing to peace, stability and development in the region; reaffirmed the United States' support for a strong, independent, prosperous and self-reliant Vietnam, and expressed his desire to further strengthen the relationship between the Governments and peoples of the two countries.

Japanese Emperor Naruhito sent a congratulatory message to General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam.

Governor-General of Australia Samantha Mostyn sent a congratulatory letter to General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam.

The Governor-General of Australia sent his warmest congratulations to the Government and People of Vietnam; emphasized that the two countries are close friends and expressed his belief that the Australia-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership will continue to develop.

* Second Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam Erywan Pehin Yusof and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Dato' Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Bin Hasan sent congratulatory letters to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Bui Thanh Son.
