The rice is carefully selected, then soaked in water for about 8 hours. After soaking, the rice is ground into flour and mixed with spices such as salt, coconut, sesame, milk, cane sugar... depending on the type of cake, the baker mixes the flour.

Rice paper is spread on a mosquito net stretched over a pot, the cake is cooked by steam in just 10 to 15 seconds, the worker is very gentle when cooking the cake because the cake is very thin, wet and can easily tear or be rolled up and then put on a tray and put out in the sun to dry.
