On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), this afternoon (April 9), a working delegation of Nghe An province led by Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Trung visited and presented gifts to people with meritorious services, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and seriously wounded and sick soldiers.

Also this afternoon, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung and his delegation visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Duan in Hamlet 6, Nghi My Commune, Nghi Loc District. Duan is 102 years old this year, and has two sons who were martyrs who died in the Southern Front and Cambodia. She is currently living with her youngest son.
