Every day, by taking care of more than 7,000 egg-laying chickens, young man Hoang Anh Tu in Ha Linh commune (Ha Trung) earns a profit of several million VND per day.
The highly effective egg-laying chicken farming model of Mr. Hoang Anh Tu's family.
Mr. Hoang Anh Tu shared: After graduating from high school, due to my family's poor circumstances, instead of choosing the path of university entrance exams, I chose to find a job to earn extra income to support my family and cover my living expenses. Due to limitations in professional qualifications and skills, my job was not stable, and I often had to change my workplace. In 2015, with the desire to return to my hometown to start a business, I researched, learned and was fortunate to receive advice from brothers, friends and relatives on developing the broiler farming economy.
To implement the model, along with making a specific plan, I also started to mobilize support funds for timely implementation. Accordingly, with savings, support from family, loans from relatives and friends, especially loans from the Social Policy Bank, I boldly started a business by raising more than 300 broiler chickens on an area of about 3,000m2 of my family's land.
In the beginning of his business, Tu was lucky to earn a significant profit in the first batch. From the initial success, Tu boldly expanded the scale of raising to 3,000 chickens, at times up to 5,000 chickens. However, during this investment period, Tu failed because the price of animal feed increased every day, causing the chickens to be raised at a heavier loss. In 2019, through market research and study, realizing that the demand for chicken eggs in the market was high, at times the supply could not meet the demand, and at the same time the profit was high, Tu decided to switch to this model.
According to Mr. Tu, for the chickens to develop well, selecting breeds and taking care of them properly are important factors. If you want the chickens to lay eggs regularly and with good quality, the chicken feed must ensure nutritional components. Following the correct process, after 5 months of raising, the chickens will give their first eggs.
With the effective implementation of economic models, Mr. Tu's farm currently has 4 rows of barns, a total area of over 3,000m2 with more than 7,000 egg-laying hens. On average, the farm owner sells about 5,000 eggs to the market each day. With the selling price ranging from 2,400 to 2,600 VND/egg, after deducting expenses, Mr. Tu earns a profit of about 3 to 5 million VND per day.
Not only is he a typical example of good economic performance, as a typical youth union member, Mr. Hoang Anh Tu also always shares, exchanges experiences, supports and helps a number of young households in difficult circumstances to develop production, increase income, and stabilize their lives. Mr. Tu and his family are always exemplary in implementing the policies, guidelines, laws of the Party, the State, and local regulations. In the work of the union and youth movement, he always actively participates in movements and campaigns, especially always being a pioneer in implementing the movement to establish a career, contribute to his homeland, and create jobs for local youth.
