VPUB - Reviewing budget adjustments and infrastructure development planning

Dienbien.gov.vn – Continuing the meeting on the afternoon of March 31, comrade Le Thanh Do, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and other Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the March meeting of the Provincial People's Committee. In this meeting, delegates focused on discussing and giving opinions on important reports related to the adjustment of the State budget, construction planning and regulations on notarization in the province.

Comrade Le Thanh Do, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

The reports discussed included: Adjusting and assigning the State budget revenue and expenditure estimates for 2025 for units after restructuring and streamlining the apparatus; Approving local adjustments to the 1/5,000 scale zoning plan for the Northern area of Dien Bien Phu city, associated with Dien Bien airport; Local adjustments to the 1/500 scale detailed construction plan for the Northwest urban area of Dien Bien Phu city; Decision on regulations on economic and technical characteristics of the On-demand Service related to notarization of the province. These reports were carefully reviewed and commented by delegates, aiming to ensure stable and sustainable development for the province, especially in completing infrastructure and public services.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do requested relevant departments, branches and units to absorb the opinions of delegates, edit and supplement reports and submissions to complete before submitting them to competent authorities for approval. At the same time, he also requested units to proactively review, inventory and handle public assets after merging administrative units, ensuring that these tasks comply with legal regulations. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also affirmed that, in order to achieve development goals in 2025, agencies and units need to coordinate closely and quickly and effectively implement projects, especially in the fields of public investment and digital transformation. Submissions and reports need to be completed fully and clearly, closely assessing the situation and having specific solutions for each field of work.

In addition, the meeting also asked for written opinions from delegates on two contents: The submission of the Provincial People's Committee to the Provincial People's Council to issue a Resolution to abolish the Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council and the submission of the Department of Science and Technology to the Provincial People's Committee to issue a Decision to abolish the decisions of the Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee./.
