Bank interest rates today, March 24, 2025, recorded another bank reducing deposit interest rates, becoming the bank that adjusted interest rates 4 times since the beginning of the month. Up to now, only a few banks have maintained interest rates above 6%/year.

Vietnam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank) has just announced its fourth reduction in deposit interest rates this month, after reductions on March 3, 7 and 14.

Deposit interest rates will be applied at a new level from today (March 24), with the highest interest rate being 5.7%/year, a decrease of 1.1%/year compared to early February.

Specifically, Eximbank will reduce online deposit interest rates on weekdays (from Monday to Friday) for individual customers by 0.1%/year for terms from 6-12 months.

Online deposit interest rates on weekends (Saturday, Sunday) for individual customers will also be reduced by 0.1%/year for terms from 1-12 months.

Eximbank continues to maintain the same online deposit interest rates on weekdays and weekends for terms from 15-36 months.

The savings interest rate for customers who receive interest monthly is listed at 0.2% lower per year than the interest rate for customers who choose to receive interest at the end of the term. This fixed difference applies to all terms and all days of the week.

By continuing to reduce deposit interest rates, Eximbank is the first bank to reduce interest rates four times in March.

Statistics show that only a few banks maintain deposit interest rates of 6%/year. Accordingly, BaoVietBank lists an interest rate of 6%/year for online deposits with terms of 15-36 months.

BVBank listed interest rates of 6%/year for online deposits with a term of 18 months, 6.05%/year for a term of 24 months.

GPBank is also listing online deposit interest rates at 6.05%/year for 12-month terms and 6.15%/year for terms from 13-36 months.

Online deposit interest rates at HDBank are listed at 6%/year for a 15-month term and 6.1%/year for an 18-month term.

The remaining domestic commercial bank maintaining a bank interest rate of 6%/year is Viet A Bank, with online deposits of 36 months.

Since the February 25 meeting held by the State Bank with commercial banks on interest rates, 23 domestic commercial banks have lowered their deposit interest rates by 0.1-1% per year depending on the term.

In March alone, 18 domestic commercial banks reduced deposit interest rates from the beginning of the month, including: PGBank, Viet A Bank, Kienlongbank, Bac A Bank, Eximbank, LPBank, Nam A Bank, NCB, SHB, VCBNeo, VIB, Vikki Bank, MBV, BIDV, Techcombank, VietinBank, OCB, ABBank.

Of which, Eximbank has reduced interest rates 4 times and Kienlongbank 3 times; PGBank has also reduced interest rates twice since the beginning of the month.
