The 10th grade high school entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year took place safely and in accordance with regulations.

From June 1 to 3, Ninh Thuan province organized the entrance exam for grade 10 high school, ethnic boarding high school, and specialized high school (collectively referred to as grade 10 high school entrance exam) for the 2024-2025 school year. Thanks to good preparation, the exam took place safely, smoothly, and in accordance with regulations.

In the 2024-2025 school year 10th grade entrance exam, the whole province has 8,181 candidates registered to take the exam. The province allocated 24 exam sites with 367 exam rooms located in 7 districts and cities. Candidates take the exam in 3 general subjects, including: Math, Literature, English and specialized subjects for candidates applying to Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted.

On the morning of June 1, candidates will take the Literature exam, with a duration of 120 minutes; in the afternoon, they will take the English exam, with a duration of 90 minutes. On the morning of June 2, candidates will take the Math exam, with a duration of 120 minutes. This is also the final exam for candidates applying for grade 10 high school and ethnic boarding high school.

According to reporters at some examination sites in districts and cities of the province, the examination was organized carefully and safely. Officers, teachers, and staff serving the examination were mobilized to ensure quantity, quality, and full training in professional skills and examination regulations. Candidates were present at the examination sites early, taking advantage of the time to review their notes, encouraging each other to try hard, and stabilizing their psychology before entering the examination room. According to the Pham Van Dong High School (Ninh Phuoc) on the day of the Math exam, security and order were ensured. Volunteers from Pham Van Dong High School were on duty at the school gate, ready to support candidates with drinking water, study tools, as well as cheering them on to help them have a safe and smooth examination season.

Accompanying their children, many parents temporarily put aside their work to pick them up and drop them off, encouraging them to confidently enter this important exam. Ms. Tran Thi Ngan Phung, Dong Hai Ward (Phan Rang - Thap Cham City) whose child is taking the exam at Ninh Hai High School, shared: This exam is very important for my child's studies, so I arrange time to take him to the exam site every day. During the time my child is studying for the exam, I also closely monitor and encourage him mentally so that he can calmly and confidently enter the exam. I just hope my child will try his best, be mentally comfortable, and do his best to have the opportunity to be admitted to the school he likes, not to put pressure on him.

Teacher Nguyen Ngoc Quan, Head of the examination site of Nguyen Trai High School (Phan Rang-Thap Cham City), said: This year, the examination site at Nguyen Trai School has 545 candidates registered to take the exam with 23 examination rooms. In order for the exam to take place safely, smoothly, and in accordance with regulations, before the exam, the school mobilized staff and invigilators to supervise the exam; checked the electrical system, lights, fans, and arranged tables and chairs according to regulations; proactively developed contingency plans for unusual situations that may occur; and increased security forces during the exam. Thanks to good preparation, the 2 days of the exam took place seriously, in accordance with regulations, with 1 candidate absent.

At the end of the exams, most candidates said that the exam questions were within the school curriculum and review. The Literature exam was designed in an open way, so it promoted the creativity of candidates. The English exam questions were within the 9th grade curriculum, and the level of the exam questions was not too difficult. For Math, at some exam sites in Phan Rang-Thap Cham City and Ninh Hai District, after the exam time ended, many candidates left in a relaxed and excited mood. Nguyen Phuong Anh, a student at Le Hong Phong Secondary School (Phan Rang-Thap Cham City) who took the exam at Nguyen Trai High School, shared: The Math exam questions were close to the curriculum, concise and not too difficult. I am confident of getting over 8 points, hoping to pass my first choice at Nguyen Trai High School. Sharing the same sentiment with Phuong Anh, Ngoc Han, a student from Ly Tu Trong Secondary School (Phan Rang-Thap Cham City) taking the exam at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted happily said: Thanks to careful review, I did quite well after 2 days of testing. The Math test followed the review program closely. I allocated my time reasonably to do each question, focusing on completing the easy questions first and the difficult ones later, so my test result was quite good. Tran Mai Phuong Thuy, a student from Quang Trung Secondary School (Ninh Hai) taking the exam at Dinh Bo Linh Secondary School (Ninh Hai), shared: This year's Math test was within my ability. During the test, I focused on applying the knowledge I had learned and following the requirements of the test. I am confident that I will achieve good results.

At Pham Van Dong High School, many candidates asked said that the Math exam was relatively difficult, with clear differentiation. Only students with good academic performance achieved high scores. Dang Ngoc Minh Vy, a student at Le Quy Don Secondary School (Ninh Phuoc), said: I found that this year's Math exam followed the curriculum closely but was a bit difficult, many questions required students to be good and excellent to do. I found the most difficult were problem 4 on practical math and problem 6 on finding the smallest value of an expression. I did about 80% of the questions but I'm not confident that I'll get all of them right. Lo Hoang An Xuan, a student at Dong Dau Secondary School (Ninh Phuoc), shared: The structure of this year's Math exam was similar to previous years but was a bit more difficult. I reviewed the curriculum carefully and practiced many exercises but I didn't do very well, only getting an average score. Student Dang Nu Ai Khanh, from Dong Dau Secondary School, shared: I did very well in Literature and English, but not so well in Math...

Teacher Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hanh, Head of the examination site at Chu Van An High School (Phan Rang-Thap Cham City), said: This year, the examination site at Chu Van An School has 20 examination rooms with 480 candidates registered to take the exam. The number of personnel working on the examination is 63 people. Thanks to good preparation, the examination went smoothly and successfully; candidates arrived at the examination site on time, took the test in an orderly and serious manner. The examination supervisors performed their assigned tasks correctly; no candidates or examination supervisors violated the examination regulations; 1 candidate was absent from the English exam and 1 candidate was absent from the Math exam.

Comrade Nguyen Anh Linh, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, said: The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year took place safely, smoothly, and in accordance with regulations at all testing locations. The whole province had 127 candidates absent from the Literature exam, 126 candidates absent from the English exam, 136 candidates absent from the Math exam, the percentage of candidates participating in the exams was over 98.3%. There were no unusual incidents in the province; no candidates or exam invigilators violated the exam regulations.

On June 3, TS registered for admission to Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted and continued to take specialized exams as registered.
