13 products were evaluated and classified as provincial OCOP products, of which 4 potential products achieved 5-star rating and 9 products achieved 4-star rating.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Kien Giang province has just organized the awarding of the decision of the Provincial People's Committee recognizing the results and evaluating the classification of provincial-level OCOP products under the One Commune One Product Program of Kien Giang province in 2024 to the subjects.

Accordingly, there are 4 products that have achieved 4-star OCOP certification, with the potential to achieve 5-star status, including: Phu Quoc Huynh Khoa fish sauce 35 degrees of nitrogen, Phu Quoc Huynh Khoa fish sauce 40 degrees of nitrogen, Phu Quoc Huynh Khoa fish sauce 43 degrees of nitrogen, Phu Quoc Huynh Khoa traditional fish sauce 45 degrees of nitrogen. The subject is Huynh Khoa Fish Sauce Trading Company Limited (Phu Quoc city). Recognition of 4-star OCOP products for 9 products of 5 subjects. Of which, Huynh Khoa Fish Sauce Trading Company Limited (Phu Quoc city) has 2 products: Phu Quoc Huynh Khoa fish sauce 30 degrees of nitrogen, Phu Quoc Huynh Khoa fish sauce 32 degrees of nitrogen. Kim Hoa Fish Sauce One Member Co., Ltd. (Phu Quoc city) has 3 products: Kim Hoa fish sauce essence 35 degrees of nitrogen, Kim Hoa fish sauce essence 40 degrees of nitrogen, Kim Hoa fish sauce essence 43 degrees of nitrogen. Khai Hoan Trading Joint Stock Company (Phu Quoc city) with 1 product: Khai Hoan traditional fish sauce with 30 degrees of nitrogen. Hong Duc 1 private enterprise (Phu Quoc city) has 2 products: Hong Duc 1 fish sauce with 40 degrees of nitrogen, Hong Duc 1 fish sauce with 43 degrees of nitrogen. 2 Dau business household (Giong Rieng district) with 1 product: 2 Dau soursop tea.

The decision to recognize the results of the OCOP product star rating certification is valid for 36 months, and entities are allowed to use the OCOP brand and star rating printed and pasted on product packaging when sold on the market. According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Kien Giang, by the end of 2024, the whole province had recognized 296 OCOP products that met the standards of 3 stars or higher. Of which, 6 products met the national 5-star standard, 36 products met the 4-star standard and 254 products met the 3-star standard. There were 154 participating entities, including 37 enterprises, 23 cooperatives, 7 cooperative groups and 90 business households. All OCOP-recognized products have a consumer market and are trusted by consumers.
