Not only accusing Viet Anh of advertising low-quality products, some audiences also reacted when the male artist posted superstitious content to sell feng shui items.
Evening of October 6, Meritorious Artist Viet Anh Post an article with content related to placing feng shui items to ward off bad luck.
“This is a year of purification, so those born in the years of the Tiger, Monkey, Snake, and Pig (1986, 1998, 1992, 1980, 1977, 1989, 2001, 1983, 1995) must pay close attention to their finances. The Tai Sui limit is the most serious and frightening limit, so don't be subjective. I have done it myself, so I'm sharing it with everyone. Once set, the Tai Sui limit is reduced very well,” Viet Anh wrote.

In the comments section, the audience reacted, saying that Viet Anh should focus on his acting career, not post and advertise superstitious content for profit. Some people were even upset because he was promoting superstition, scaring the audience to sell feng shui items.
In response, Viet Anh replied that those who do not believe need not care, to avoid being stereotyped. "Every year I ask for feng shui to ask for luck, this year I added the year of the pig to avoid bad luck. Luckily, everything I do will bring luck. The important thing is to know where to ask for it," along with Viet Anh tagging the seller of feng shui items that he considers sacred.

Also in Viet Anh's article, the audience complained about the quality of the products he advertised.
“I also believed your advertisement to buy someone’s melasma treatment cream. I don’t remember because I was so angry that I deleted it from my phone. The more I apply it on my face, the more it looks like a waste of money. I hope you advertise properly,” the GMB account commented.
In response to negative consumer feedback, Viet Anh explained: “You must be allergic to an ingredient. Sorry, although I don’t know which melasma cream you’re talking about.”
“No allergies at all, I applied it for a month but my face is getting darker and darker like coal. I'm losing faith in artists,” this person continued to protest.
Before Viet Anh, many artists were criticized for advertising low-quality products, advertising disguised feng shui products...
In September 2023, artist Cat Tuong held a press conference to apologize for advertising shows related to milk brands.
People's Artist Hong Van apologized to the audience when advertising an herbal effervescent tablet that was warned by the Food Safety Department did not have the same effect as advertised.
Duong Cam Lynh was criticized for false advertising about Korean colostrum calcium. Many famous artists such as Duc Thinh, Ung Hoang Phuc, Ngan Quynh, My Uyen, Hoang Son, Hoang Map... have appeared in a clip advertising a false "super weight loss" treatment of a clinic in Ho Chi Minh City.
Not long ago, the official Fanpages of many famous people such as Kieu Minh Tuan, Kha Nhu, Le Duong Bao Lam... posted advertisements with the keyword "DOGE" (abbreviation of Dogecoin, a virtual currency), with similar content. However, when condemned by public opinion, these posts were simultaneously hidden without any explanation.
Similarly, many artists such as Huong Giang, Thanh Huong, Lan Phuong, Thanh Van... posted similar posts about fortune telling. In the comments section, they attached a link to a Facebook page specializing in selling feng shui items such as bracelets, dragon seals, crystal balls, money trees... However, the above feng shui products are often extremely expensive and have not been verified for quality.
