The ambassadors affirmed that during their term they will do their best to promote the traditional friendship and effective cooperation between the two countries.
President Luong Cuong received the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece, Colombia, Panama and six concurrent Ambassadors from Liberia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Republic of Congo, Burundi, Portugal, and Tanzania who presented their credentials to assume their duties in Vietnam on the morning of March 17 at the Presidential Palace.

The President affirmed that this event marked a new milestone in the development of relations between Vietnam and the countries that the ambassadors represent. Sharing the goal of bringing bilateral relations to a new height, the President hoped that the ambassadors and Vietnam would further open up the potential for cooperation between the two countries. The countries would join hands with Vietnam in multilateral forums, solve global issues, build a world of peace, development, and a fair political and economic order based on the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter and international law.
The ambassadors affirmed that during their term, they will make every effort to promote the traditional friendship and effective cooperation between the two countries, especially in politics, economics, trade and investment; and at the same time, they expect the two sides to continue to expand cooperation areas in line with the potential and strengths of each side.
