Many unique and special cultural and artistic activities with the theme of Welcoming Christmas - Welcoming New Year Da Nang 2025
Immediately after the opening ceremony of the Festival, the Parade of Joy with Santa Claus took place on Bach Dang Walking Street with the participation of more than 600 dancers dressed as Santa Claus, the Snow Queen and an impressively decorated reindeer model. Participating in the parade were Miss International Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy and an international artist group from Sun World Ba Na Hills Resort to interact and connect with locals and tourists.
Starting from the gathering point at the intersection of Binh Minh 7 - Bach Dang, Santa Claus paraded on Bach Dang walking street and danced in unison to vibrant Christmas music at each stop: Binh Minh 6 - Bach Dang intersection, Binh Minh 4 - Bach Dang, APEC Park, 2025 letter model. At the Light Pine Tree - the end of the parade, professional and semi-professional dancers performed in unison with locals and tourists.
Within the framework of the Da Nang Christmas - New Year Festival 2025, on both sides of the Han River, there will be a series of activities: Da Nang Christmas - New Year Market 2025 (17:00 - 22:30 from December 20, 2024 - January 2, 2025) with a Vietnamese - International culinary space serving 100 typical local, regional and international dishes, highlighting traditional dishes of the festive season. Souvenir and decoration space, displaying and selling handicrafts, souvenirs, decorations about Christmas, New Year, OCOP products typical of the locality and region.
In particular, this year's Christmas Eve will feature a meaningful gift-giving program called "Fun with Santa Claus", taking place from 5:30 p.m. on December 24, 2024 at the Northern Landscape Deck, East Bank of Dragon Bridge. The program offers more than 3,000 lovely gifts for children. Residents and visitors can participate in the Christmas Quiz, dress up as adorable characters, fill stockings, and join in the vibrant Christmas dances.
With two themes "Welcoming Christmas" and "Welcoming the New Year", at the Danang X'mas - New Year Festival 2025, people and tourists can participate in Christmas tree decoration competitions, Santa Claus costumes, a series of scented candle making workshops, free creative painting, as well as experience traditional Vietnamese dishes.
