(PLVN) - On the evening of November 30, the People's Committee of Bac Ha district (Lao Cai) held the opening ceremony of the Bac Ha White Plateau Winter Festival 2024, with the theme "Intoxicated by Winter".
This is one of four tourism events within the framework of the Bac Ha White Plateau Festival, contributing to stimulating tourism, aiming to develop Bac Ha into a unique provincial tourist area, striving to become a national tourist area.
The Bac Ha White Plateau Festival with the theme "Winter Intoxication" in 2024 will take place from November 30 to December 7 with activities such as ethnic costume competitions, Mong panpipe performances, and the "Bac Ha Culinary Arts and Culture" Competition in 2024 with the aim of preserving and promoting the cultural values of Bac Ha.

The performances vividly show the rich spiritual life and culture of the people in the "White Highlands", the aspiration to rise up and build a beautiful and prosperous life of the ethnic groups in Bac Ha district.
At the same time, visitors can also participate in the comprehensive sports tourism tournament, the 3rd Northwest Mountain Marathon in 2024. In addition, there are many attractive activities in Hoang A Tuong Palace to welcome visitors from near and far to the winter of Bac Ha White Plateau.
