On the afternoon of February 24, Quynh Nhai District Party Committee organized a working program with the collective of officers and soldiers of the District Police to grasp the situation of ensuring security and order in the area and the preparation work to end the activities of the District Police.
The district-level police force was officially established on January 3, 1952 under Decree No. 09 of the Ministry of the Interior. Over 63 years of construction, fighting and growth, generations of Quynh Nhai District Police officers and soldiers have always strived, devoted, intelligently and bravely fulfilled their tasks of ensuring security and order throughout the stages of the Vietnamese Revolution as well as the formation and development of the district. Throughout the history of construction and development, the District Police have achieved many outstanding achievements, contributing significantly to maintaining the stability of the area, effectively serving the task of economic and social development of the district. During the resettlement of people at Son La Hydropower Plant, Quynh Nhai District Police was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal from the President.
Speaking at the working program, the leaders of Quynh Nhai District Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that the District Police have achieved in recent years. The achievements are the clearest evidence of the sense of responsibility, dedication and resilience of each police officer and soldier. At the same time, they hope that in the coming time, the police officers and soldiers of the District will be arranged and transferred to new units to continue promoting the achieved results, excellently completing all assigned tasks, protecting the Party, the State and the people in the new situation.
