Báo Đại Đoàn KếtBáo Đại Đoàn Kết05/03/2025

Actively responding to the Prime Minister's movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide by 2025", Quang Nam province has mobilized all resources to help the poor have new houses, stabilize their lives, and feel secure in doing business and developing the socio-economy.

In recent days, Blup Thi Ty and her husband (Ra Bhuop village, Atieng commune, Tay Giang district, Quang Nam province) have been very happy to move into a new, solid house, no longer having to worry about the rainy and stormy season. Ty shared that before, her family lived in a makeshift thatched house, and every time it rained heavily, the whole family had to run to the commune People's Committee headquarters or the village community center to take shelter.

“At the end of 2024, the District Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses supported me with 60 million VND to build a house. I borrowed another 200 million VND from the bank; people in the village and hamlet joined hands to help my family build a solid house. I am very happy to have a new house, this is my lifelong dream. I am very grateful for the attention and support of the authorities at all levels,” said Ms. Ty.

The district has completed more than 600 houses, currently there are about 400 houses left, we will try to complete them this year.”

Mr. Briu Quan also said that up to this point, the amount of money mobilized and allocated by the province to the locality is more than 4 billion VND to implement the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. Currently, the locality is continuing to mobilize organizations and businesses to continue to respond to this program. Through inspection and supervision, it shows that people are very excited and happy when the policies of the State as well as the mobilized resources through the Front channel and many support sources have reached the people, so that people have solid houses.

Meanwhile, in Bac Tra My district, Ms. Ho Thi Be (village 1, Tra Giang commune) said: "My family's circumstances are too difficult. If it weren't for the neighbors, my adoptive parents, and the care and help from the authorities, I wouldn't have had a solid house to live in."

Ms. Ho Thi Son (village 3, Tra Doc commune) said that her husband and she only work for hire to make ends meet and pay for their child's medical treatment. She did not dare to think about building a new house. Thanks to the support of the local government and the help of neighbors in the village and commune, they were able to build a solid house.
