On October 17, students of Ha Huy Tap Secondary School (Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) had a field trip and learned many new things when visiting Acecook Vietnam Noodle Factory.
More than 45 students and teachers of the school were introduced to the company's formation and development process, saw the production process, took souvenir photos, enjoyed noodles and received gifts to take home.
Students are amazed at the long-standing development process of a brand.
The children learned that the company was founded in Japan, initially selling bread (including cakes and candies) and then switching to instant noodles because it chose processed products based on the criteria of being easy to transport, easy to eat and delicious.
In 1993, Acecook brand entered Vietnam, from 1 production line the company developed 11 factories located in 6 branches in Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Da Nang, Binh Duong and Vinh Long.
Currently, the company has built factories in three regions: North - Central - South to facilitate distribution of goods and save costs. Not only supplying to Vietnamese people but also exporting to over 40 different countries.
Students cannot help but admire the long-standing and large-scale development process of the Company. Not stopping at the popular Hao Hao noodle product, to suit consumer tastes, the company has also developed many different types of noodles, including convenient cup noodles.
Tran Hoang Lan Anh shared: “This is the first time I have visited the factory, I am very excited to see many new things with my own eyes. I know how to create a large production process, through that I also learn how the staff instruct, operate and develop the brand”.

Ms. Nguyen Tien Thuy - teacher at Ha Huy Tap Secondary School, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City - said that the students were very excited to have a practical experience.
“I see that students ask more questions than when they sit in class when they visit the factory. They are very interested in seeing the production process, the steps to make a package of noodles. Students learn more about the issues they have heard before, because up until now they have always thought that instant noodles are fried many times and are not good to eat.
Today, you will see that this is a clean, closed and safe production process. You will also practice discipline, learn and see new things that will help you remember longer and be more interested" - Ms. Thuy said.
Mr. Ngoc Hien - a company employee - answered the students' questions and said that if instant noodles were harmful to health, they would not be consumed in the market. Users need to eat a combination of all food groups, vegetables, and fruits.
“To launch a new product, company employees must conduct research for a long time and produce many test samples. The new product will not be sold immediately, but consumers will be invited to try it, evaluate the color, flavor, and packaging, etc., before starting to supply it to the market,” Mr. Hien informed.

Proud that the company chose to develop in Vietnam
Student Tran Huy An said he was very excited when his teacher announced that he would be able to visit the factory.
“When my younger brother heard that I was going to visit the factory, he asked a lot of questions like: how to make noodles, what ingredients are used… I didn’t know how to answer at that time. But when I visited, I took notes and took pictures of the product display space to answer my younger brother’s questions and show them to my family.
I learned a lot about industrial equipment, how to combine to create products, and how to promote the company. It showed us the company's model and direction, so that later we will know how to do it if we want to establish our own company" - An said.
The male student could not help but feel proud when the Japanese chose Vietnam as a place to develop and trusted it to set up many large-scale factories.

Thai Ngoc Anh shared: “I feel happy to experience the noodle making process, and to have my long-standing questions answered. We are confident with the knowledge we have gained, and we compete to raise our hands to answer questions and receive gifts.
I see that the work of factory employees must be meticulous, punctual, and highly accurate. I like the production model because it is very elaborate and meticulous."
Ms. Tran Thi Chinh - teacher at Ha Huy Tap Secondary School, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City - assessed that the visiting students had a high spirit of learning and listened very carefully to the company's staff's instructions.
“Students can directly experience the production process, see and pay attention to what subjects. For example, students who want to work in the food industry can learn to orient their career, while others also have the opportunity to expand their knowledge,” Ms. Chinh confided.
