In the first 6 months of 2023, traffic order in Hung Ha district continued to be ensured, traffic accidents decreased compared to the same period in 2022.

In the district, there were 6 traffic accidents, killing 5 people and injuring 2 people; a decrease of 2 cases and 2 injuries compared to the same period in 2022. The main causes of traffic accidents include: drinking alcohol while participating in traffic, not paying attention, driving in the wrong lane, not wearing a helmet, speeding...

During the patrol and control process, the District Police Traffic Police Team detected over 900 traffic violations, imposed fines of nearly 2 billion VND, temporarily controlled over 200 vehicles, and revoked driving licenses of over 190 cases. At the same time, they regularly checked alcohol levels in key areas, detected nearly 200 violations, and imposed fines of over 1.2 billion VND.

To continue to control traffic accidents in the last months of the year, Hung Ha District Police have increased patrols, controls, and strictly handled violations of traffic safety and order, encroachment on traffic safety corridors on key national and provincial highways during rush hours; and promoted mobile propaganda on the Road Traffic Law to raise people's awareness when participating in traffic.
