Hung Ha: Effectiveness of the Project "Supporting Women to Start a Business"

Representatives of the provincial Women's Union and Hung Ha district leaders presented certificates of merit to collectives with outstanding achievements in implementing the project "Supporting women to start a business".

Implementing the Project "Supporting Women to Start a Business", from 2017 - 2025, the Women's Union of Hung Ha district organized 12 training courses, guiding women to develop business ideas and projects; coordinated with banks to exploit capital sources to support women to start a business, do business, and develop the economy with a total outstanding loan of more than 423 billion VND, lending to more than 6,000 households. In addition, the union at all levels also coordinated with companies and production facility owners to organize vocational training for 1,655 female workers; introduced jobs to 16,165 members and women of working age.

Continuing to implement the Project "Supporting Women to Start a Business" for the period 2017 - 2025, in the coming time, the Women's Union at all levels of Hung Ha district will focus on propagating and mobilizing women to raise awareness, knowledge and skills about starting a business; organizing women with startup ideas to go on field trips to exchange experiences in other localities; surveying women's capabilities and needs, exploiting resources to build and establish cooperative models, cooperative groups, production linkage groups...

On this occasion, 17 outstanding female collectives and individuals in implementing the Project "Supporting Women to Start a Business" were awarded certificates of merit by the People's Committee of Hung Ha district.
