The Galaxy Ring is made from high-quality titanium, providing many features to support human health: in addition to measuring heart rate, electrocardiogram and nighttime movement, the product also supports tracking women's menstrual cycles. It is known that Samsung has cooperated with Natural Cycles to expand this function. Thus, Samsung's smart ring is almost like a smart watch today.
Recently, information about the design of the Galaxy Ring charging box has been revealed. Sammobile commented that this design is more beautiful and novel than the case for Samsung's wireless headphones, although the charging mechanism of the Galaxy Ring charging box will be similar to the Galaxy Buds.
The charging cable will connect to the cradle when the watch is inside, and the case also supports wireless charging. When the battery runs out, users can simply place the ring back inside the Galaxy Ring charging case to recharge the device.
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Ring will be available in nine different sizes, including 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 in the US. The first three will have a 17 mAh battery. Sizes 8 through 11 will have an 18.5 mAh battery, and size 12 will have a 22.5 mAh battery.
The company also confirmed that the device will offer up to 9 days of battery life, and that it will be exclusively compatible with the Samsung Galaxy smartphone line and plans to expand to more Android devices later.
The exact release date of the product is still uncertain, however, based on leaked images of the charging box, Samsung's mention of introducing a design prototype at Mobile World Congress in February, and rumors, it seems that this product is about to launch.
Galaxy Ring promises to be an interesting product that Samsung will introduce at the Unpacked event taking place on July 10 alongside the Z Fold6, Z Flip6, Watch7 series and new Glaxy Buds.
