On the morning of April 11, comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council chaired a meeting to consider and propose the award of the title of Labor Hero; medals of all types and ranks; certificates of merit from the Prime Minister, emulation flags of the Government, emulation flags and certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee, and the title of Provincial Emulation Fighter in 2023. Attending the meeting were comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and members of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council.

Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council spoke at the meeting.

Pursuant to the Law on Emulation and Commendation and current guiding documents, the standing agency of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council has fully implemented the procedural steps and completed the appraisal of dossiers for collectives, individuals, households and proposed to award the title of Labor Hero; medals of all types and ranks; certificates of merit of the Prime Minister, emulation flags of the Government, emulation flags and certificates of merit of the Provincial People's Committee, the title of Provincial Emulation Fighter in 2023.

Comrade Nguyen Van Giang, Standing Committee Member, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, spoke at the meeting.

The leader of the Department of Home Affairs spoke at the meeting.

At the meeting, members of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council focused on discussing the list of candidates for consideration for rewards; at the same time, discussed the standards and conditions for consideration for rewards in the spirit of ensuring compliance with regulations.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council, agreed on a list of 314 collectives, individuals, and households eligible to submit to competent authorities for consideration of State and provincial level rewards in 2023. 22 collectives and individuals did not meet the criteria to propose consideration and reward.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council requested the Provincial Emulation and Reward Board and the Department of Home Affairs to carry out the next steps in accordance with the correct order, procedures and regulations; promptly complete the documents to submit to the competent authority for signing the decision. Based on the opinions of the delegates, the Provincial Emulation and Reward Board coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee to study the mechanism to ensure consistency between the assessment and classification of collectives and individuals under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the government level. The Provincial Emulation and Reward Board promptly completed the decision on assigning tasks to members, the 2024 work plan; at the same time, pay attention to reviewing typical factors with outstanding achievements to promptly propose rewards to encourage, spread, create motivation for socio-economic development, and ensure national defense and security.

Also at the meeting, members of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council voted to approve the list of collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements proposed for State and provincial level rewards.
