The workshop is of great significance in affirming and clarifying: The correct and creative viewpoints on people's war of our Party, headed by President Ho Chi Minh. The acumen, creativity, and decisiveness in leadership, strategic and operational direction directly by the Central Military Commission and the Commander-in-Chief. The role and great contributions of the armed forces and people of the whole country, the ethnic minorities of the Northwest, directly by the army and people of Dien Bien province; the help of international friends. The historical significance, the reasons for the victory; the peak development of Vietnamese military art in the resistance war against French colonialism; drawing on historical experiences and lessons; applying and developing in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland today.
Concluding the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh commended the agencies and units for doing a good job in preparing and implementing plans to ensure progress; emphasizing that the national conference to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory is an important event, agencies and units need to focus on close coordination, organize the conference to ensure solemnity and meaning; contribute to educating revolutionary traditions for the people of the whole country and officers and soldiers of the armed forces.
