On the morning of March 11, in Hau Giang, the workshop "Principal 4.0: Applying AI in teaching and educational management" attracted more than 800 principals and educational managers to attend.
The workshop was organized by FPT Schools in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training of Hau Giang and Soc Trang provinces and the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences (Ministry of Education and Training) for 2 days, March 10 and 11. Previously, the workshop was also held in Hue. The workshop series aims to share and provide updated knowledge on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching and educational management for principals and managers of general schools across the country.

The workshop was attended by leaders of the People's Committee, leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Soc Trang and Hau Giang provinces, representatives of educational management agencies, technology experts, researchers, and more than 800 principals and educational management staff at all levels of the two localities.
In the context of strong digital transformation, the explosion of artificial intelligence (AI) has deeply affected all areas of life, in which education is considered one of the most clearly affected sectors, with both opportunities and challenges. In particular, Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW sets out a breakthrough strategy in the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation. Promoting the application of technology in education has become a national strategy.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Dr. Le Anh Vinh - Director of the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences emphasized: "Artificial intelligence plays an important role in reshaping the development thinking and educational strategy of each country. Managers and educators are the pioneers and key forces in implementing educational policies, in which AI is considered a useful tool to develop students' capacity and qualities.

The Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences focuses on researching the application of AI in education, including research on an artificial intelligence competency framework for students. Developing AI competencies not only builds a creative learning environment but also helps students realize their potential, contributing to the development of thinking towards becoming global citizens in the future."
At the workshop, experts shared many "hot" topics, such as: the overall picture of AI in education, leveraging the power of AI to turn challenges into opportunities for education managers, AI competency framework for Vietnamese high school students, and practical implementation of STEM - Robotics for students. Principals and local education managers also had the opportunity to discuss solutions, orientations and modern education models thanks to the application of technology, especially AI.
In addition, at the experience area, workshop attendees also had a chance to see how teachers at FPT Schools use AI to create interesting lectures, guide students to be creative and solve problems in learning and life with AI, and apply AI to turn common subjects such as History, English, Math, Literature... into extremely vivid, intuitive and easy to understand...
