More than 300 athletes compete in Phu Quy District Half Marathon 2023

BTO-On the morning of May 13, the 2023 Phu Quy Island Half Marathon was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Phu Quy district.

This is also an event in a series of joint activities of Binh Thuan province in response to the activities of National Tourism Year 2023 - Binh Thuan - Green Convergence. The tournament is a new, national-scale playground held for the first time in Phu Quy district, attracting 314 male and female athletes to compete in two distances: 10km, 21km.
Not only attracting athletes from districts and cities, but also attracting Runners from provinces and cities across the country.

The Half Marathon is an interesting experience for many tourists when traveling to Phu Quy, many families with many members participate as a beautiful memory in the journey to travel to this beautiful island.

Mr. Ngo Tan Luc - Vice Chairman of Phu Quy District People's Committee, said: Through the tournament, we aim to promote and introduce the culture, image of Phu Quy land and people to all parts of the country; spread the meaning of the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" .
Through that, we also call on the forces on duty to ensure the safety of the Phu Quy Island Half Marathon in 2023 in all aspects. Athletes compete enthusiastically, honestly, with solidarity and friendship between localities, athletes... learn, share and especially conquer themselves to contribute to the success of the tournament.
