On the morning of March 17, the Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with Tay Nguyen University to organize the Launching Ceremony in response to the campaign "Million steps of kindness" in 2024. Attending the ceremony were representatives of departments, branches and sectors in the province; students of Tay Nguyen University and volunteers.

“Millions of Kind Steps” is a community fundraising communication campaign initiated and implemented by the Vietnam Red Cross Society and partners, towards the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).
The campaign was launched from February 25 to April 21, 2024 nationwide, with the goal of attracting 70,000 people to participate in sports (walking/running) and record achievements via the vRace application, reaching 700,000 km; correspondingly, the campaign fund reached 7 billion VND to build boarding kitchens for students in mountainous areas, support sustainable livelihoods for poor families, organize the Humanitarian Market to provide necessities for disadvantaged families...

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society Ayun H'Huong called on individuals and organizations to actively participate in the campaign "Million steps of kindness"; at the same time, emphasizing that each step will spread the message of kindness, protect the environment, raise funds to carry out humanitarian works and help disadvantaged children, disabled children and poor people have the opportunity to excel in their studies, work and life.

Within the framework of the program, delegates and volunteers participated in a 2km walk and jog around the campus of Tay Nguyen University.
