From the moment they crossed the bridge of glory, the new soldiers of Battalion 303 entered military life.

Battalion 303, also known as No Trang Long Battalion, is part of the combat formation of Infantry Regiment 584, Dak Lak Provincial Military Command, established on September 3, 1978. The unit was twice awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the President in 1978 and 1989.

In 2025, Battalion 303 will receive 425 new soldiers from districts, towns and cities in the province. Of these, 08 are party members; 15 new soldiers have intermediate level or higher qualifications. Immediately after being assigned to the unit, the new soldiers will be equipped with initial knowledge and skills before entering the official rookie training course.

At the unit, new soldiers will be re-examined to ensure absolute health before entering the training process.

Honored to be soldiers of the heroic Battalion 303, one of the top learning contents of new soldiers is to study and research the heroic tradition of their unit.

In addition, new soldiers are also informed in detail about the regime and policies for soldiers from food standards, uniforms, equipment...

Folding the interior can be considered the first "task" to be completed when starting a new day for new soldiers. To be able to complete it quickly, correctly, neatly and beautifully, after being instructed, it is also necessary to practice many times to be able to master this seemingly simple skill.

Although they have not yet entered official training, the new soldiers have been instructed in exercises to help improve their health.

After studying and practicing, production will increase.

For many new soldiers, simple tasks like weeding and watering vegetables are their first experiences in life.

Not only during Tet, taking care of trees and flowers is done regularly so that the campus is not only neat and clean but also full of colorful flowers.

Although wearing the uniform of a soldier, the new soldiers are still young men in their late teens and early twenties who have just left their families. Besides training and instructing them in knowledge and skills, the commanders of the companies in the Battalion also have to meet regularly, exchange and grasp the thoughts and feelings of the new soldiers in order to promptly encourage and support them.
