The 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 will innovate many impressive, rich and meaningful activities.

On the morning of February 21, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Organizing Committee of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2025 held a press conference to inform about the festival.

At the press conference, the Organizing Committee said that with the consent of the Government, Dak Lak province will organize the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 with the theme "Buon Ma Thuot - Destination of world coffee" from March 9 to March 13, 2025 in Buon Ma Thuot City and some localities in the province.

The festival is a practical activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot Victory Day, the liberation of Dak Lak province (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025). With 17 main activities, this is also an important event, contributing to promoting the Buon Ma Thuot coffee brand, building the image of Buon Ma Thuot City as the "Coffee City of the World"; contributing to enhancing the position of the Vietnamese coffee industry in the international arena and promoting the socio-economic development and tourism of Dak Lak province; honoring coffee growers, processors and traders; introducing tourism potential, promoting investment in the field of coffee and agricultural products; introducing and promoting the traditional culture of ethnic minorities, especially the Central Highlands Gong Cultural Space - an oral masterpiece and an intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

Speaking at the press conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha said that Buon Ma Thuot is known as the "Coffee Capital of Vietnam", with the largest coffee area and output in the country, with an area of ​​about 210,000 hectares, annual output reaching more than 520,000 tons, accounting for more than 30% of the national output. The province's coffee has been exported to hundreds of countries and territories around the world, always playing an important role in the province's socio-economic development.

In particular, the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 will have new highlights such as: Specialized exhibition fair for coffee and OCOP products; Specialty coffee roasting competition, International trade conference - Connecting and elevating Vietnamese coffee, Groundbreaking ceremony of Trung Nguyen Legend Energy Coffee Factory; Coffee camp "Accompanying and sharing" at the historical - cultural relic site of CADA Plantation, Krong Pac district...

Programs introducing coffee with the application of new technology to continuously improve the quality and output of coffee in the new period; introducing traditional and modern coffee culture through activities such as coffee roasting demonstrations, organic coffee experience tours are held in many places in the province.
