Tuition fee in rural areas: 32,000 VND/student/month

According to the Resolution of the People's Council of Tra Vinh province, all three levels of public schools, preschool, middle school, and high school, which have not yet covered their regular expenses, charge 32,000 VND/month/student in rural areas. In urban areas, the tuition fee is 64,000 VND/month/student.

Resolution No. 11/2024/NQ-HDND dated June 29, 2024 of the People's Council of Tra Vinh province stipulating tuition fees for public preschool and general education institutions that are not self-sufficient in regular expenditure in Tra Vinh province for the 2024-2025 school year.

Accordingly, the tuition fee collection level stated in Resolution No. 11/2024/NQ-HDND is based on Decree No. 81/2021/ND-CP dated August 27, 2021 of the Government on the mechanism for collecting and managing tuition fees for educational institutions in the national education system and policies on tuition exemption and reduction, support for learning costs; service prices in the field of education and training; Decree No. 97/2021/ND-CP dated December 31, 2023 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 81/2021/ND-CP.

Resolution No. 11/2024/NQ-HDND takes effect from July 9, 2024.

Tuition fees for public preschool and general education institutions that are not self-sufficient in regular expenditures in Tra Vinh province for the 2024-2025 school year are as follows:

The mechanism for collecting, managing, and using tuition fees and policies on tuition exemption and reduction, support for study costs, support for tuition payments, and payment methods shall comply with Chapter III and Chapter IV of Decree No. 81/2021/ND-CP.
