On January 30 (the second day of the Lunar New Year 2025), a number of supermarkets and traditional markets in the province reopened to serve people's shopping needs. Most prices of all types of goods did not fluctuate much due to low shopping demand and large previous reserves. Because many people no longer have the mentality of hoarding food like before, in the first days of the new year, people went to buy food for daily use, so buying and selling activities were bustling in the first days of the new year.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong, owner of Cuong Ca store at Ha Long I market, shared: On the second day of Tet, I opened my shop as usual every year, both to get a good day, hoping for a favorable new year, good business; and to serve people's needs. Prices are still basically stable, not increasing compared to the time before Tet.
