Fire destroys nearly 4,000m2 mushroom factory in Lam Dong

As of 6:30 p.m. on November 19, Lam Dong province's rescue forces were still actively extinguishing the fire at a mushroom factory in Da Nhim commune, Lac Duong district.

Initial information, at around 4:00 p.m. on November 19, at the Nguyen Long mushroom production and purchasing facility (resettlement area of ​​Da Nhim commune, Lac Duong district), a fire suddenly broke out and quickly spread to the entire production area.

Immediately after receiving the news, the local fire fighting force was mobilized to put out the fire to limit the spread of the fire. The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force, Lam Dong Provincial Police also mobilized 6 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers from Da Lat City (about 25km from the scene of the fire).

However, because the factory had many flammable items, combined with strong winds, after only a few minutes the fire completely burned down the nearly 4,000m2 mushroom factory.

Until the evening of the same day, the authorities were still actively zoning and completely extinguishing the fire in some locations at the mushroom factory to prevent the fire from re-igniting.

The fire happened on the weekend, there was no production labor so fortunately there were no casualties.

The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
