Purple bougainvillea flowers bloom in the model new rural countryside of Can Loc

Beautiful bougainvillea arrangements along large and small roads have contributed to embellishing the colorful picture of the model new rural area of ​​Thien Loc (Can Loc - Ha Tinh).

Thien Loc commune was recognized as a model new rural area in June 2022 (becoming the first commune in Can Loc to be recognized with this title). Coming to Thien Loc today, everyone will be amazed by the rows of high-rise buildings, straight concrete and asphalt roads. In particular, it is impossible not to mention the colorful flower beds and bougainvillea roads.

The purple bougainvillea flowers all over the alleys in Thien Loc create a vivid picture, captivating many people.

Mr. Dang Anh Tuan - Chairman of Thien Loc Commune People's Committee shared: "In order to create a new landscape, contributing to the implementation of environmental criteria in building new rural areas, since 2015, we have developed a plan and directed villages to plant flowers and ornamental plants in front of their houses. The whole commune has 2,500 households, up to now, 80% of households in the commune have planted flowers, mainly bougainvillea, portulaca, and pearl plants. The brilliant flower arrangements contribute to changing the appearance of each alley and residential area".

Many house gates are planted with bougainvillea by people, both to create shade and increase aesthetics.

Mr. Dang Phuc Tuoc (83 years old, residing in Hong Thinh village, Thien Loc commune) shared: "The bougainvillea trellis in front of my house has been planted for more than a year now. The bougainvillea is very beautiful and blooms almost all year round. This flower is quite easy to care for, mainly pruning dry branches and watering in the summer. Every afternoon, my family goes out in front of the gate to admire the flowers and chat with the neighbors."

Clusters of purple flowers mixed with green leaves look very impressive.

Many concrete roads in the villages have been covered with colorful flowers. This is the result of the hard work and diligence of the villagers, who have contributed to the renewal and beauty of their homeland.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Anh (residing in Hong Tan village) shared: "Both my husband and I love flowers, so 3 years ago we bought some and planted them. Now the plants have grown and bloomed a lot. After tiring working hours, I spend my free time looking at and taking care of flowers and ornamental plants in the house, helping me reduce stress."

Bougainvillea trees are planted by many households to decorate around their homes.
