The final match of the Hanoi International Friendly Tournament took place on the evening of October 7. After the first two matches, all three women's teams, Hanoi (4 points, goal difference +6), Thai Nguyen T&T (4 points, goal difference +2) and Beijing (3 points, goal difference +4) still have a chance to win the championship. However, Thai Nguyen T&T has the biggest chance when they only have to face Manila Digger of the Philippines, which has run out of goals. Van Thi Thanh joined the Thai Nguyen women's team at the end of September and only needed two weeks of training to make her first mark.

I have only coached the Thai Nguyen T&T women's team for 2 weeks, but I have a good relationship with the players and often watch football, so approaching the team has become clearer. In order for the players to get used to the new playing style, the team's coaching staff has made a lot of effort. The Thai Nguyen T&T players are also very smart and quickly absorb information. They are the main characters, and I only play a supporting role. The lesson plan that I want to apply to the team in the coming time is that the players must understand and make their own decisions, instead of waiting for the coaching staff's instructions. I will equip the players with tactics so that they are not surprised," coach Van Thi Thanh confided.

According to the former Vietnam Women's Golden Ball, this championship is the motivation for Thai Nguyen T&T to aim for the National Cup which will start 2 months later.

“In football, you can’t always win. Football is interesting because there is no resonance, if you lose today, you don’t lose tomorrow, and vice versa. This championship is the motivation for the whole Thai Nguyen T&T team to continue to strive. This is an important tournament and I hope the whole team will practice and try hard to aim for the championship,” coach Van Thi Thanh added.

At the award ceremony, in addition to the championship for Thai Nguyen T&T, the runner-up for Hanoi and the third place for the Beijing women's team (Manila Digger won the style award), the organizers also awarded the beauty queen award to Manila Digger player Quinley Quezada.
