Hanoi Department of Construction has just piloted traffic organization adjustment on Hoang Hoa Tham and Ngoc Ha streets (Ba Dinh district).

Accordingly, passenger cars with 16 seats or more (except buses and armed forces vehicles) will be banned from operating in the direction and section from Mai Xuan Thuong Street to Ngoc Ha and on Ngoc Ha Street (in the direction and section from Hoang Hoa Tham to Le Hong Phong).

On Ngoc Ha Street, the ban is from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; and on Le Hong Phong Street, cars with more than 16 seats will be banned from making U-turns at the Ngoc Ha - Le Hong Phong intersection.

Previously, from March 1, Hanoi only allowed cars with more than 16 seats to operate during the time frame in the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake, except for buses and school buses.

Accordingly, the city bans cars with more than 16 seats from circulating during rush hours: 6:30 - 8:30 and 16:30 - 18:30.

The above plan applies to the streets on the right side of the ring road, including: Dinh Tien Hoang (from Hang Dau to Hang Dao) - Hang Dao - Hang Ngang - Hang Duong - Dong Xuan - Hang Giay back into the old quarter.

The streets on the right side of the ring road include: Hang Dau - Tran Nhat Duat (Hang Dau - Nguyen Huu Huan section) - Nguyen Huu Huan back into the old quarter area.
