Mr. Troussier is among the best coaches in Asian Cup history.
Notably, this list includes the name of the head coach of the Vietnam national team, Mr. Troussier.
In 1998, Coach Troussier was appointed head coach of the Japanese national team.
Just two years later, the French coach led the team from the land of the rising sun to the Asian Cup championship in the tournament held in Lebanon.
At that time, the team under Mr. Troussier had an effective attacking style of play, scoring 21 goals in 6 matches.
During this journey, the Japanese team successively overcame very strong opponents such as Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan and Iran.
In 2004, coach Troussier moved to lead the Qatar team but was unsuccessful and stopped right after the group stage.
